No filter needed for this gorgeous head of hair. Her bff scheduled a make over for her hair for her birthday and we had the best time with her hair!! It was fun and exciting giving her a new look. I lifted her hair for this custom color. She wanted a noticeable but subtle look🤔do you think I pulled it off???Please forgive me for not having the before pics I was really busy that day and didn’t take out the time to snap the before shot which is usually the case the majority of the time. .

Baby Sis came thru for her very first hair appointment since and she had about 4 inches of new growth so I just did a heavy foil to blend it to the ends and used 20volume with the lightener with no heat and got decent results. Ofcourse I wanted to do more. We trimmed off about 2 inches lol she was not happy about that but she knows that that was the only way to get these results.

I know it may seem to be a difficult task to stay positive in times such as these but it will make things better I promise.

I am so grateful to God that I don’t have to rush back to work. I don’t have to put my life in imminent danger. I don’t have to be subjected to potentially being exposed I order to pay my bills. What a blessing that is. My heart goes out to the people who have to go to work today my fellow hairstylists and nail techs. Please be safe and protect yourself and your family. Just thought I would share something with you all. This act of delighting myself I’m the Lord has helped me so much. God has been providing for my family and I even though I haven’t worked in over a month. We haven’t went without anything. I’ve had some times where I wasn’t feeling so happy and that is when I would grab my bible and say a prayer and all would be well. Nomatter what your going through don’t forget to take care of your mind and your heart and stay close to God he will always protect you and yours as long as you believe. 🙏

Hello to all 😘 I just wanted to check up on you all to make sure you were doing ok. If you have any questions about your hair and some things to do in the meantime I would be more than happy to help with that. Always remember that the least amount of heat that you use is always going to be a safe method. In the event you want to use heat please don’t use a lot of heat and use a heat protectant. If you don’t have any a light oil will do. Just be sure you aren’t blow drying your hair without any product. Sleeping nightly with a satin bonnet is always a good idea. Because cotton can dry your hair out tremendously. If you aren’t sure what products to use use what you have but be careful when you detangle your hair as the most breakage can occur when the hair is wet/damp. Always detangle hair from the nape of the neck. Bottom to the top and start detangling hair from the ends to the root.

In order to be certain your ends don’t end up like this, be sure to always stay on top of getting your maintenance trims. It is equivalent to getting an oil change in your car. It is life or death of your hair. The longer you wait in between trims the more you will need to get cut. Depending on the severity of the damage you could have to undergo a series of trims over a short period of time or opt to get it all done in one session which could leave you feeling a bit shocked and overwhelmed. Either way it has to come off. While we’re going through this trying time outbreak the best way to preserve your ends is to refrain from using excessive heat and keep plenty of oils in your hair paying close attention to the ends of your hair. This will keep your ends from splitting. Also if you aren’t already sleeping with a satin bonnet and/or a satin pillow case please make that commitment to do so. As cotton can strip all of the oils needed to maintain a vibrant healthy head of hair.
