Anyone who knows her knows she always loved to uplift all people with gracious positive energy, especially when it came to the youth! Ever since she been in the hair industry for 25+ plus years. A energy that you dont see from hair stylist especially these days .

Her shop wasn’t just somewhere kids sat while their mom got styled.
It became a place where they learned, laughed, studied, played, and most importantly… felt seen. She always used her place of business for spiritual purposes. Her mission was to give good energy to anybody who walked in that door an sat in one of them chairs.

Kids loved being around her, and she loved being around them just as much.

She didn’t look at them as “just children.” Or just some kids hair she has to do,
She respected them as pure beings, full of energy, personality, and truth. She would show a level of interest into their world and she connected with so many kids just from being a woman of so much positive energy and high vibration.

Alot of people are evil and bitter in this world an they pass that energy down to the children in our community. Which is the reason why we need more positive thinking adults because thats the energy that the children feed off of directly or indirectly.

Before the world teaches ego… children move with a natural light.
And Naiomi connected to that light effortlessly.

She poured into them.
Spoke life into them.
Gave them energy they could carry back into their homes, their schools, their everyday lives.

And in return… they poured into her too.

Their joy, their honesty, their free spirit ..that’s what kept her lifted.

She had a village mindset.
The kind where every child matters.
Where every child is guided, not dismissed.

That’s why they loved her.

Because they could feel… she was real.

And that kind of presence doesn’t leave, it lives on in every child she touched. 💫

She is the absolute standard of true queen power! Society teaches alot of our women to just sit back, relax, an just recieve, recieve, receive.. But Not her, She was a builder.. a reciprocator. Not just a reciever ✊🏿

That level of discipline… that level of purpose… that kind of consistency don’t come from regular ambition. That comes from alignment. She was never content with the normal. She wanted to control her own destiny in society and thats what she did! ✊🏿

If you knew Naiomi, you know she loved turtles. And it makes sense… because turtles don’t rush, but they never stop. They move with purpose, they carry their home, and they endure.

That was her.

Everything about her was intentional, energy, movement, and presence. She was building something real, something lasting. And she always treated life like Disneyland. It was nothing more than an experience for her. She knew this subconsciously.

That kind of spirit doesn’t truly leave. It just moves different. She wasn’t just building a life… she was fulfilling one.

A real deal ENTREPRENEUR .. Or as she says it “BRAIDTREPRENEUR”!! 💕

When Most kids our age.. 7 or 8 years old was outside all day chasing the ice cream truck. Naiomi was already making money, running an independent hair business. Before she was even 10 lol. .

When she was a kid she was dreaming about ownership. She wasnt satisfied with working a regular job an coming home to watch movies and scroll on social media, being in an reposting celebrity business for the rest of her life lol . She never made time for foolishness. Everything she did counted for somethin bigger.

She wanted to build a EMPIRE! ✊🏿💫 She wasn’t built to be bottled in the workforce. She had a gift!. She wasn’t tryna sit up to look cute an wait on random men, women or anybody to save or fund her future. She built her legacy herself. Braid by braid.

She’s been doing hair For almost 25 years, at only 33 years old 😳😳😳😳 . She was a OG in her field at 33!! Let that sink in! she fed herself with her hands. No loans. No investors. Just discipline, skill, and vision. From braiding everybody’s hair in school, from students to teachers, to home setups, to a studio store, to her own storefront.

The next move was sticking around long enough to buy the property. 2026 was supposed to be the year she launched her braiding school and built a school-to-salon pipeline so young women could earn without depending on the system like she did!

She is the blueprint for getting it out the soil.
And for that She will be forever be immortalized as a Southern hair legend and one of the greatest cosmetologist!

I’m grateful I wasn’t just her soulmate, I was a supporter, and most importantly a close witness to HER greatness.

We are gonna make sure we expand her legacy from here! Books, Film, Production, Merch, Fashion, Hair, the Naiomi Osire brand is here to stay an will only get greater from here. This is only the beginning!
