One of my springtime promotions is microneedling. I like to use the analogy of aerating your lawn to microneedling since the treatment creates mini preforations of the skin to stimulate the growth of collagen and elastin; the two main foundations of the skin. Many women are hesitant to do microneedling because when described, it sounds painful. I wanted to share this video to show that it is not painful or uncomfortable. Before starting the treatment, I use a numbing cream on the area so my clients don't feel anything during or after the treatment.

Here's a photo of a client right after I completed her microneedling treatment. Immediately post treatment you can expect mild erythema for the first 24 hours. You can expect some mild flaking & dryness for up to 1 week. You will see improvement in tone & texture after 1 week and improvement in fine lines, wrinkles & scars in 6 weeks.
