In an attempt to spend more time with God and start my days off with Him, I don’t listen to secular music before 12pm. It started when my mom wouldn’t let us listen to secular music before 12 on Sundays but I turned it into an everyday thing when I got older.
I’m not sure when exactly I started doing this but I know I’ve been doing it for a few years now. It feels good to start my days off with positivity and reverence to God! And that doesn’t change just because I have a client in my chair. I actually hope my clients feel the same way I do when I put on my gospel/christian playlist! Or even a little bit of nostalgia from the songs we grew up listening to in church!
So if you book an appointment before 12pm, you can 9 times out of 10 expect that we’ll be listening to my gospel or Christian rnb/hip hop playlist ☺️
