You don’t always need prosthetics to create realistic film injuries 🩸

For this look, I start by designing the injuries in Procreate on the iPad, then I printed them as temporary tattoo transfers. After applying the tattoos to the skin, I enhance the effect with a little color work and gel blood to bring the injury to life.

This is a fast technique often used in film and television makeup when you need convincing injuries without the prosthetics.
