Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid—a type of fatty acid with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and pain-relieving properties.
Tonight My husband agreed for me to apply a castor oil pack to his knee. Been bothering him all week due to climbing up & down 40 foot ladder
He has a hard time believing the holistic medicine approach. butttt he’s coming around lol

Plantain

This shy little w**d is great for sunburn along with about a million other uses. Make a tea and chill it for best results. Soak a cloth in your tea and drape it over the burnt area. Plantain is known as a drawing agent and it will effectively draw the heat out of your sunburn.
Tea Infusion in progress. 😊 Stay tuned for results

The bark of white willow contains salicin, which is a chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid).
In combination with the herb's powerful anti-inflammatory plant compounds (called flavonoids), salicin is thought to be responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of the herb.
In fact, in the 1800s, salicin was used to develop aspirin. White willow appears to bring pain relief more slowly than aspirin, but its effects may last longer.

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale)
is sometimes used on the skin to treat wounds and reduce inflammation from sprains and broken bones.
Comfrey roots and leaves contain allantoin, a substance that helps new skin cells grow, along with other substances that reduce inflammation and keep skin healthy. Comfrey ointments have been used to heal bruises as well as pulled muscles and ligaments, fractures, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis.
