Well hello everyone! I have enjoyed newlywed life and we moved and settled into Dunwoody just outside the perimeter and I am set up to see you 🥰. It feels so good to be back! I missed you guys. Don’t worry, I always have my pulse on the latest and recently attended the South Beach Symposium and listened to Dr. Michael Gold and Dr. Jason Emer to be informed of the latest.

Today I want to highlight a treatment that is like going to the gym for your facial muscles. I am super excited to show you the amazing lifting results of microcurrent. This is just in one treatment and it provides immediate results.

Can you tell which side of my face got a workout? Today I used micocurrent to give myself a lift and sculpt my cheeks. This is one of the tools we can incorporate into your facial. So what exactly is micro current?

Used medically since the 1980s as an FDA-approved muscle stimulator (initially used to treat Bell’s Palsy and muscle paralysis!), microcurrent treatments have cemented itself in the world of skin care as an alternative to surgical facelifts and Botox.

How does it work? Well, by using low-voltage electricity that targets adenosine triphosphate (ATP) cell growth, microcurrent tightens the muscles and connective tissues of the face. This, in turn, stimulates key cellular activities such as collagen production, lymphatic drainage, skin lifting, and texture-smoothing.

Heyyyy friends! This is a volcanic hit springs sulfur mud mask from the mud baths of St. Lucia. My skin feels amazing! It’s really phenomenal to experience natural elements and see them benefit your skin. My husband had a rash and the sulfur and minerals in the mud helped heal it.

I have taken a siesta from seeing clients as I was enjoying my engagement and being a newlywed. I believe it’s important to be present with major life milestones. We are in St. Lucia now 7 months into married life and celebrating my birthday. So much has happened this year and we are SO excited to have a house which can provide me space to perform facials and skin treatments again.

So excited to get back into what I know and love 💕

Chemical peel season is here!
Pro tip: It doesn’t mean your chemical peel isn’t working if you don’t peel. There are some wonderful non-peeling ‘peels’ on the market. Trust your provider.

Our philosophy is small steps to healthy skin versus heavy duty aggressive treatments.

Gut check ✔️

The health of your gut is directly correlated with your overall wellness, including the wellness of your skin. Within our gut lives the microbiome. This is an environment where “good” and “bad” bacteria live. These bacteria help our body maintain balance. An unbalanced microbiome can affect your brain and overall health.🦠

Your overall health ties into the health of your skin. By balancing “good” and “bad” bacteria, your gut enables your skin to act as a barrier that prevents toxins from entering the body. When both your gut and skin are healthy, your body will produce more anti-inflammatory molecules to fight skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.

Some of the things you can do to support your microbiome in your gut include eating more fermented foods like kombucha, kimchi, kefir, sauerkraut, and tempeh. You also want to include pre and probiotics into your diet. Foods rich in polyphenols also increase the amount of good bacteria in your gut. Some great sources of polyphenols include: green tea, almonds, blueberries, broccoli, coco and dark chocolate and red wine.

The more you know! 💡
