Please don't go out and buy loc extensions and assume one size fits all. Loc extensions are beautiful when installed properly. Have you ever saw locs that are small at the top and the extensions were 2 sizes too big? That comes from lack of knowledge and incorrect size. Wait until they go for a retighten🙄😬.

Microlocs Monday! I'm always showing you guys the hair, but today I wanted to focus on the care of microlocs. I have some clients who have been with me since day 1 and their locs are thriving and doing as they should, THEN you have clients like the non-listening coloring loctician 👀👀 who do whatever they want.
Keeping a simple routine can make a world of a difference. I hope these tips help someone.

I know yall didn't think I was going to leave my client with a matted head of locs??? no ma'am no way! Here me out!! I haven't seen my client in a year and he's very picky about who touches his crowd, so he waited patiently until we both had time on our schedule to get him right. These beautiful thick locs had to be separated, but they were all intact, no thinning no repairs, just separate and retwist.

Listen… for whatever reason, our locs need extra support sometimes. You may have shampooed without braiding and banding, had a wild night, or shoot… just didn’t maintain those 2 strand twists. IDK 😂
Whatever the reason is, you now have bunching and want it fixed NOW!!! I got you 🫶🏿

hear me out!! I was so missing my bright side and needed it back like yesterday. 😩😫 Soooooo I removed the darker color and this is the results. 🤩✨ No additions just removal so don't ✂️ me off, because like I promised I did not add any NEW color. 😘

Interlocking is my favorite method even on my male clients.

FYI... that bunching is not going anywhere without the proper repairs.
