Some saw an afro. I saw beautiful 1-inch parted locs that just needed time, consistency, and the right repairs.

Two years ago, this transfer client came to me hoping I could save her locs. We reestablished her grid without compromising the integrity of her locs, then focused on repairs.

Based on her end goal, interlocking the roots and crocheting the ends was the best option to help prevent bunching and continued slippage.
