What people want from us isn’t an interview — it’s the consult. How skin is assessed in real time. How concerns get prioritized. How routines get edited when there’s more than one issue on the table.

So going forward, each episode is a recorded, live skincare consult. Not an interview.

Right now, this is the only way to do a consult with me outside of clinic.

We’ll walk through your skin the way I would in practice — intake, routine review, prioritization, and clear recommendations based on your goals and real-life constraints.

Masks often marketed as essential, transformative, or corrective — when in reality, most masks are supportive, not necessary. Used correctly, they can be a nice addition. Used incorrectly, they’re just an expensive distraction from what actually matters.

They’re best viewed as:
•A comfort step
•A hydration boost
•A pre-event enhancement

If you enjoy the ritual and your skin responds well, great. Just don’t expect them to do the heavy lifting. Consistency in your daily routine will always matter more.

After a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to close the SHOPDERM storefront and transition fully into The Consult.
