Dr. Celeste Adoté Trichology

In 1991 Celeste Adoté attained two of her childhood goals: receiving the designation of Master Cosmetologist, and the founding of New Image Hair Studio, where she has served as co-owner and manager for over 17 years. Well-known and respected, New Image has become a landmark in the historic downtown Woodstock landscape, and was voted Best Hair Salon in 2007. Celeste earnestly volunteered her services to many who were displaced after Hurricane Katrina, and has taught in both local schools and schools in Togo, Africa. Celeste is also an experienced desairologist, having the rare gift of compassion and skill needed to care for the hair, skin and nails of the deceased in preparation for family viewing. Despite years of success, however, Celeste has always had a desire to do more. While she thoroughly enjoys helping her clients discover their natural beauty, she wants to make it known that there is more to her profession than just “making people pretty”. Understanding the body’s physiology and how it affects the hair is essential. As a result, Celeste’s mission is to expand her scope as a cosmetologist to educate and assist the public with increasingly common and frustrating problems – hair loss and scalp disorders. As a Doctor of Trichology, she anticipates continued professional fulfillment, personal enjoyment, and above all, providing an invaluable service to the community.
