Attention to all who may have followed me from my old account . It seems like my last post got me deleted from Instagram. I am not in shock about this what so ever. I know things like this can happen when you start to speak your mind and you have a decent platform to be heard on. So this is nothing new to me. Established in September 2016, The Georgia Barbers Network is the first and only Barber Network in the State of Georgia, formed to be a beacon in barbering in the new Hollywood of the South.
We’ve all heard the expression that there’s strength in numbers and it takes a village to raise a child. In that same spirit of working as a collective, The Georgia Barbers Network has been organized and is presented to foster style in numbers and the new notion that it takes a village to raise a career.

Some don’t have a license.
Some don’t have a shop.
Some don’t have a car.
Some don’t have family.
Friends.
Some are hungry.
Some have mental health issues.
Some started from the bottom.
Some started from the top then fell and have to start over again.
Some with no parents.
Broken homes.
Substance abuse.
Some with no one to love and no one to love them back.
Some were born with unfair advantages.
Physical disability.
Mental disability.
Some were gas lit by their parents and now have a hard time trusting others... Now me, I’m familiar with this list and the overcoming part is the hardest thing. But you’d be surprised at the amount of people around you experiencing the unimaginable. Be envious of no one or nothing. Never yearn for the life of another. Your walk is tailored for you. You owe it to yourself to count your blessings.
I once slept in my car with my daughter eating cold Little Caesars for dinner... I’ll never forget those nights. Those nights groomed me. Reminded me of what I didn’t have. Reminded me to always show empathy towards others. But to also hold those around me accountable. If you’re reading this I don’t care what you’re dealing with or have dealt with but you’re conditioning. Soon you’ll recognize it without having to be told and you’ll just get straight to work. But Every now and then a few of us need to be reminded or we need a sign... and well, here it is.
F’ all that!
