THIS is why I keep saying: healthy hair first.

This client came to me with significant thinning through the crown and visible scalp exposure. Instead of simply covering the area and sending her on her way, we started with a plan.

Before we installed the K-tips, she received hair treatments to begin supporting the health of her natural hair. She then entered the pre-system phase of the Crown Restoration journey, received a customized K-tip install for support and camouflage, and continued with her recommended treatments while wearing the K-tips.

Approximately 2.5 months later, we removed the install and documented what was happening underneath.

And this is what we saw:

• Visible grow-out
• Retained natural hair
• New hair present throughout areas that were previously extremely sparse
• No obvious hair loss during removal
• A client who felt confident enough to wear and style her own hair again

And here is the part I really want you to understand:

She received treatments before the K-tips were installed and continued those treatments while wearing them.

She has not even completed the full Crown Restoration protocol yet.

The K-tips were never supposed to be the cure. They were part of the support system. The goal was to give her confidence while we protected, treated, monitored, and supported her natural hair underneath—before installation and throughout the time she wore the K-tips.

That is the difference between simply installing hair and building a hair restoration strategy.
