โI trust the wisdom within me. I give myself permission to slow down, receive, and nourish myself without guilt. I do not have to carry everything. I am worthy of rest, softness, joy, and abundance. I honor where I am today and trust the woman I am becoming.โ
This week, remember:
๐ฟ You don't have to rush.
โค๏ธ You don't have to do it all.
๐ You are allowed to receive.
โจ Your softness is strength.
๐ธ Come home to yourself.

Take some time this weekend for a moontime ritual
๐น 1. Create Your Sacred Space
Dim the lights, light a candle, put your phone away, and make yourself comfortable with a blanket or heating pad.
Choose an intention:
โI give myself permission to slow down and listen.โ
๐ต 2. Prepare Your Moontime Tea
Try your Moontime blend
Sip slowly rather than rushing through the cup.
๐ 3. Warmth & Nourishment
Give your body warmth and comfort:
Take a warm bath or shower
Use a heating pad on your lower abdomen
Enjoy your Moontime Nourishment Bowl
Stay hydrated
๐ฌ๏ธ 4. Moon Breath
Place one hand over your heart and one over your lower abdomen.
Slowly inhale through your nose for 4 counts.
Exhale gently for 6 counts.
Repeat for 5โ10 breaths.
As you breathe, imagine creating more space in your belly and pelvis.
๐ 5. Gentle Movement
Rather than pushing through an intense workout, ask:
โWhat does my body want today?โ
Try:
Hip circles
Cat-cow
Child's pose
Gentle pelvic movement
Slow intuitive dancing
Walking in nature
The goal isn't performanceโit's connection.
๐ 6. Moontime Journaling
Ask yourself:
What am I ready to release?
What has been asking for my attention?
Where am I giving more than I have available to give?
What does my body need from me right now?
What am I calling in for the next cycle?
๐ 7. Release Ritual
Write down something you're ready to let go of.
It could be:
An expectation
A relationship pattern
Self-judgment
Overcommitment
Something you've been carrying emotionally
Then tear up the paper or place it somewhere symbolic as a reminder that you don't have to carry everything forward.
โค๏ธ 8. Close With Self-Blessing
Place both hands over your heart and say:
โI honor my body.
I honor my rhythm.
I release what no longer serves me.
I give myself permission to rest.
I trust the wisdom within me.โ
Then simply rest.
The Moontime Ritual isn't about doing more during your period.
It's about creating permission to slow down, nourish yourself, listen inward, and honor the cyclical nature of being a woman.
Nourish. Release. Rest. Receive. Begin again.

Herbs commonly used for menstrual support
Ginger
One of the better-studied herbs for menstrual cramps. It may help with pain and inflammation associated with primary dysmenorrhea.
Chamomile
Traditionally used for relaxation and menstrual discomfort. Its calming properties can make it especially nice for the days before and during menstruation.
Lemon balm
Traditionally used for nervous-system and digestive support. A lovely choice when menstrual time comes with tension, irritability, or digestive upset.
Peppermint
Can be soothing for bloating, gas, and digestive discomfort that sometimes accompany menstruation.
Raspberry leaf
A traditional women's herb for womb health.
Cramp bark
Traditionally used as an antispasmodic for menstrual cramping.
Vitex (chaste tree)
One of the more commonly studied herbs for certain premenstrual symptoms. It acts on the reproductive hormone signaling system, so I would do more research to see if this herb is right for your needs.
For menstrual nourishment
I'd also emphasize nutrient-dense foods alongside herbs:
Dark leafy greens
Lentils and beans
Pumpkin seeds
Sesame seeds
Eggs
Salmon and sardines
Berries
Avocado
Ginger
Dark chocolate/cacao
Plenty of fluids
I have a lovely Moon time tea you can find in my shop.

โSometimes what we call a lack of motivation is actually a woman who has been pouring from an empty cup for too long.โ
And the answer isn't always to push harder. Sometimes it's to slow down, listen, receive, and begin nourishing the woman underneath all the roles she carries.
Take some time to slow down this weekend. Whatever that might look like.
Sip your tea quietly by yourself
Listen to calming music
Gentle yoga
Breathwork
Time in nature
A bath
Allow yourself to receive. This could be big or small.
Get a massage
Humming/ singing
Take a nap
Self care isn't selfish. It's important for your health.

This is a great time of the year to think about gentle detoxification. Gently clearing out any stagnation before we move into the fall and winter month can help keep your immune system strong.
I have the perfect thing for this, Lymphatic drainage for detoxification.
This protocol combines a basic lymphatic massage with skin brushing, castor oil packs on the abdomen, abdominal massage,, and additional detoxifying foot reflexology, which enhances a potent cleanse to the body.

Dancing can be so healing. I love to embrace different types of dance depending on what it is I might need. If I am wanted to call in some introspection I might look to Third Eye movement.
Third eye chakra dance is a mindful movement practice centered around intuition, inner awareness, imagination, and self-reflection. Through expressive movement, music, breath, and visualization.
Potential benefits include:
๐ Encourages introspection and self-awareness
๐๏ธ Supports a deeper connection with intuition
๐ง Promotes mindfulness and presence
๐ Provides an outlet for emotional expression
๐ฌ๏ธ Combines movement and breath to encourage relaxation
โจ Stimulates creativity and imagination
๐ฟ Helps cultivate a greater sense of body-mind connection
๐ฆ Creates space to release tension and move through emotions
Here is a gentle guideline for your practice.
1. Arriving & Grounding โ 5โ10 min
Slow, earthy instrumental music.
Handpan
Tibetan or crystal bowls
Soft drums
Nature sounds
Low ambient tones
Feeling: โI am here. I am safe. I can slow down.โ
2. Opening the Third Eye โ 10 min
Introduce ethereal, spacious sounds.
Ambient vocals
Choral harmonies
Soft drones
Flute
Hang drum
Gentle electronic ambient
Feeling: โI turn inward and listen.โ
3. Intuitive Dance โ 15โ20 min
This is where you can let the body lead.
Downtempo world music
Tribal/feminine percussion
Organic electronic
Middle Eastern or North African-inspired rhythms
Mystical/world fusion
Look for music that gradually builds without becoming aggressive.
Feeling: โI trust what my body knows.โ
4. Wise Woman / Embodiment โ 10 min
Think:
Powerful female vocals
Earthy percussion
Indigenous/world-inspired instrumentation
Sacred-feeling harmonies
Feeling: โI know who I am.โ
5. Integration โ 5โ10 min
Bring everything back down.
Soft piano
Ambient soundscape
Crystal bowls
Gentle vocals
Rain or water sounds
End lying or sitting quietly with one hand on the heart and one over the third-eye area.

I have had so much fun teaching individual's how to bring a healthy lifestyle into our kitchen's. Food and drink is something we all need. What if you can learn how to optimize your intake of nutrients and life giving benefits every bite you take or drink you sip? I am gearing up for more of these type of classes and wanted to see what topic's my community wanted to learn about.
Here are some ideas:
Tea and learn - Join me for tea. Learn about the blend we are sipping and how it benefits your health. Each. month would be a theme so we would chat deeper about this aspect.
Kitchen Herbalism - Each month we would discuss different flavors, how they benefit us, and recipes using such herbs.
Cyclical living - Each month I will bring a specific topic to the table with a focus on the stages and phases of a woman's life and how she can support herself throughout life for longevity and vitality.
Seasonal living and health- Learn how to live and care for ourselves in the different seasons of the year. Each month we will discuss different aspects of being well in each month and season.
Women's connection circles- This would be a monthly gathering where we come together in a non judgmental way and be present with ourselves and the group. Listening, sharing, celebrating, crying, laughing together.
If you have interest in any of these topics please message me with your vote. This will help me to determine what comes next.
