Creating the Visual Identity for .

Exploring the world of design, I’ve discovered
a fondness for patterns. Now, I’m excited
to craft one that reflects my personal style.

One of the main reasons my creative house logo identity had to change was that it no longer functioned and I knew the brand was preparing to exist beyond its current state. I realized it wasn’t functional anymore when I had my first movie premiere and I designed the logo on my step and repeat. It just kept bleeding through the black background. I had to get it reprinted twice. Yeah I could’ve just made it bolder, but that was a temporary fix and if I had to do that everytime I printed a design, it wasn’t functioning or legible.

A letter to my younger self

Today was a bitter sweet moment for me. I finally was able to let go of a version of myself, I once desired to be. On November 10, 2008 I made a goal’s list.

I accomplished all of my short term goals and some of my long term goals, I’m currently experiencing now.
The issue with the list was I think I got lost in the idea of fulfilling those goals when I was 18 and realized now almost 20 years later, I held on to the idea of what I thought I wanted at that age and it kept me from being more fluid in life, because I didn’t want to let myself down, not realizing l’ve been stubborn and holding myself back all these years.

You put your head down and don’t realize how much time has passed, and sometimes you lose you in the process. It’s time to find and explore the refined version of you, not the version you thought you should be. It’s time to let go and just be. Everything you need is there. I’m proud of who you were, are, and becoming. Keep showing up for yourself, keep loving yourself, and keep giving yourself grace. You’re allowed to be whatever you want to be. You can finally remove the box you put yourself in.
