Any moms in school or going back to school? How are you guys making it?

I can't live my best life w/out my KID. My KID IS the best thing in my life.

Because everything changed when they arrived. Your priorities shifted. Your perspective changed. Your definition of "best life" got completely rewritten. It's no longer about freedom, spontaneity, or doing whatever you want whenever you want. Your best life now includes them. Revolves around them. Is defined by them. And you wouldn't have it any other way.

Because the truth is, your kid IS the best thing in your life. Not your career. Not your relationship. Not your accomplishments or your possessions. Your kid. The one who drives you crazy and makes you laugh. The one who exhausts you and fills you up. The one who changed everything and made everything better.

People without kids might not understand. They might think you're being dramatic. That you've lost yourself. That you're too consumed by parenthood. But they don't get it. They don't understand that your best life isn't about having everything you want, it's about having the one thing that matters most. Your child. And living your best life doesn't mean living without them. It means living for them. With them. Through them. Because they didn't take away from your life, they became your life. The center of it. The purpose of it. The joy of it.

So no, you can't live your best life without your kid. Because your kid IS your best life. Everything you do, everything you work for, everything you hope for, it's all for them. And that's not losing yourself. That's finding your truest self. Your best self. The self that exists because they exist.

Your kid is the best thing in your life. And that's the truth.
