The Jazz Legacy Project: Louis Armstrong is a one-of-a-kind live performance honoring the Father of Jazz himself. Featuring trumpeter and Armstrong scholar Michael Cruse alongside narration by Justin Varnes, the show weaves together storytelling and timeless jazz performances that trace Armstrong's groundbreaking influence on American music.

It's part concert, part history lesson, and all heart, the kind of evening you'll be talking about long after the last note fades.

Take Mom on a self-guided mural walk through Downtown Milledgeville, colorful walls, great coffee, mimosas, a little history, and the best finish line in town at Greene's Farmhouse Foods.

Here's the deal: 8 stops, about a mile, roughly 2 hours at a relaxed pace. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Absolutely Mom friendly. 🐾☕

You'll spread your wings in front of the Peacock Mural (Flannery O'Connor fans, this one's for you), grab a drink at Bollywood Tacos, find Lake Sinclair hidden in a mural at Morning Grind, and end with a well-earned meal inside a restaurant where the owners literally painted the walls themselves.

Mixtape, an 80s/90s cover band, is taking over North Main Street for a free live music night that's giving us all the throwback feels. We're talking food trucks, drinks from local restaurants, and the kind of music that makes you forget you ever put away your neon windbreaker.

The show runs 7–9 PM, seating is limited so bring a chair, and the dress code? Neon 80s or 90s grunge, your call. 🎸✨

If you're on the Lake Sinclair side, you're closer to Greensboro than you think and a summer Friday night on Main Street is a pretty great reason to make the trip.
