Current issues include:

Multiple vehicles in ditches on Deans Bridge Road at Church Street due to driving conditions.

Highway 1, Highway 56, and Highway 25 at the county line both have slush and ice present, and traffic issues are already developing and expected to increase as temperatures continue to fall. Highway 25 in both directions has vehicles in the ditch and is iced over in many areas.

John C. Calhoun Road is in the process of being closed.

We have received reports of crashes at Wheeler Road and Bobby Jones Expressway.

Bobby Jones Expressway is freezing over in many areas.

Barton Chapel at Old McDuffie Road is SHUT DOWN.

Wrightsboro Road at Heard Avenue is SHUT DOWN.

Gordon Highway at Haynes Station Drive is SHUT DOWN and many areas of Gordon Highway have ice patches.

Richmond Hill Road is CLOSED between Lumpkin and Windsor Spring Road.

All Hills on Jackson Road are not drivable - Cars going into ditches.

Single vehicle crashes, property damage without injury, and similar non emergency incidents may be handled by deputies over the phone or reported through our online reporting system at
