Mothers tell it to their daughters from a very young age to prepare them for the world. I was the youngest of 5 girls in my family. Some of my earliest memories is watching my mom painting her finger nails and toes. She thought it was important to teach her girls the value of always looking your best. My interest in beauty didn't start until I was 13. Helping my older sisters get ready by doing their hair, nails, and makeup. I was addicted, It was fascinating to me that women could enhance their features or minimize flaws. I went to Academy of Nails
and started my career in the beauty industry.

A quote from a CNN report. My goal with this is to take the " Pain" out of the beauty, I will offer tutorials, reviews, and quick easy tips so the everyday working woman or stay at home mothers will be able to always look their best in any situation.
Not everything deserves a response.
Sometimes the practice is noticing what’s happening without needing to correct it, control it, or become part of it.
You can see clearly and still choose yourself.
Peace is a skill.
I remember when Spirit & Glow was just an idea in my head.
And lately I keep having these little moments where I look around and think… oh dang, I’m actually doing it.
I’m trying things. Meeting people. Getting opportunities I couldn’t have planned for. Learning in real time. And getting to practice the same things I talk about in my work. Boundaries, trust, staying grounded, listening to myself.
Every time I make one of my ideas real, it seems to open the door to another one.
I don’t know exactly what Spirit & Glow is going to become yet. And I think that might be my favorite part.
It’s becoming. And so am I. 🤍
