The postpartum fragility narrative treats time since birth as the master variable to determine whether a woman is ready to workout again or not.
That’s a terrible proxy for capacity.
BIRTHFIT 7 pillar framework is where it’s at. Every pillar is foundational.
Join us for the fall cohort of the BIRTHFIT Certification. Enrollment open til Aug 31.

this still gets me: how many women walk in believing their body failed them in birth.
it didn’t fail.
your body was never working against you — it was working for you, moving through whatever range your nervous system had access to in that moment, with whatever resources it had on board (prior training, nourishment, capacity).
that’s not failure. that’s biology doing exactly what it was built to do with what it was given.
most coaches or practitioners were never taught how to explain that to a client — so she walks out still carrying the blame. the BIRTHFIT Certification is where we teach the framework behind it: the seven pillars, the clinical reasoning, the language to hand a woman her story back.
🤩fall cohort enrollment is open.

Critics love to lump these together because both involve close contact for baby. But contact isn’t the variable that matters neurologically — limb freedom and reflex completion are.
Swaddling restricts arm movement by design. That means the Moro reflex — baby’s startle response — can’t complete its full motor pattern when done on repeat.
Babywearing, done correctly, keeps arms free and hips supported in the natural M-position. Baby can still startle, still move, still get rich sensory input from your movement, your breath, your heartbeat.
So no — swaddling for sleep and daily babywearing are not the same thing. One restricts. One supports.
Build forward, not back. 🤍

Strollers are nice especially at the airports or at festivals🤩. Car seats serve a purpose even if your little hates it at first 🙃. And when we are in our every day routine, it’s better to limit those things to prioritize wearing or carrying your baby.
I still wear my almost-3-year-old into the store or market at times, especially when she needs to be close. I know this season is fleeting. I am grateful to carry her. 💚

I don’t think I’ve ever shared…
the start of my career was providing chiropractic care and personal training (what we called at that time) “high performers”. The group I worked with had clients that were professional athletes, Olympians, actors and actresses performing legit stunts, and executives of major companies.
I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the in-the-moment decisions that game times and stunts asked of me. And I got really nerdy on prep and recovery- like how could we make the next sprint to the train better or how could we get you back on the pitch after an Achilles tear? 🤓
It all changed when I had a client ask to guide her through the motherhood transition. I took courses and read books. Finally, I attended my first birth.
And that lit me up.🔥
So I simply became curious.
That curiosity led me to treating, coaching, and leaving the company I worked for to start/ risk it all on BIRTHFIT. 😳🤩✨
I’m leaned and trusted God’s timing. None of it made sense but it’s all been working out as I follow the cookie crumbles in front me.

I said yes to BIRTHFIT before I truly knew what I was building or doing. ✨🤯🤓
I followed the path that God kept laying out in front of me.
I leaned in and learned from my clients. I listened to them. I believed in them. I never once treated them as fragile. I focused in on the season of life she was currently in.
I know you didn’t go into this field to turn clients away. You went into it to be the person they trust most.
