People often ask me why I choose to compete in pageants, and the answer is simple—it’s so much more than a Title or Pretty Face.

Pageantry has given me the opportunity to teach women and young girls that true beauty comes from within. It’s about having a heart to serve others, showing kindness, and making a difference in your community.

Through this journey, I have built lifelong friendships with incredible women who inspire and support one another. I have been blessed with opportunities that have allowed me to grow, lead, and serve in ways I never imagined.

Pageants have taught me selfishness, confidence, and the importance of meaningful community connections. They have given me the strength to build a platform to encourage others, share my passions, and inspire the next generation to believe in themselves.

For me, pageantry isn’t about being the prettiest person in the room—it’s about being a woman of purpose, character, and service.

👑 Where My Sash & Crown Have Taken Me 👑

Wearing the title of Universal Miss East South Central Elite has been so much more than wearing a sash and crown—it has been a journey filled with purpose, service, and unforgettable memories.

This year, my sash has taken me across countless opportunities to make a difference. From judging pageants and supporting young women on their pageant journeys, to participating in fundraisers and community service projects, I have been blessed to represent my title with pride and purpose.

It has allowed me to volunteer at local animal shelters, meet and support local law enforcement through my platform, Behind the Badge, and lend a helping hand to charities that are making a difference in our communities. Most importantly, it has connected me with incredible people whose kindness, dedication, and passion for service inspire me every day.

A crown is not just a symbol of beauty—it is a symbol of leadership, service, and heart. I am grateful for every opportunity, every friendship, and every life touched along the way. As I continue this journey, I look forward to serving even more, supporting others, and making a positive impact wherever my sash and crown may take me next.

💙✨ A Day I Will Never Forget ✨💙

Today, I had the incredible honor of volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation alongside my amazing sister queens. As the reigning Universal Miss East South Central Elite Miss, being able to represent my title while helping bring smiles and joy to deserving children and families touched my heart in ways that are truly inspiring.

Witnessing the strength, courage, and happiness of these wish children was a humbling reminder of what truly matters in life. Moments like these reinforce why community service and giving back are so important to me.

To make an already wonderful day even more special, I finished it off at Kentucky Kingdom with my Ride or Die and Sister Queen, Universal Miss East South Central Miss. Sharing laughter, memories, and celebrating a day filled with purpose made it absolutely perfect.

My heart is full tonight. 💙 Thank you to everyone who made today so meaningful, and thank you for allowing me to represent this title while serving others. This is what the crown is truly about—making a difference, one heart at a time.

👑 Representing My Title with Purpose 👑

As Universal Miss East South Central Elite, I have been honored to represent my title through service, leadership, and community involvement.

Over the past several months, I have had the privilege of:
Judging pageants and encouraging contestants to shine with confidence and grace.
Supporting my local police department by attending memorial services and honoring the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Through my platform, Behind the Badge, I remain committed to showing appreciation and support for our law enforcement community.
Cheering on and supporting my sister queens as they embark on their own pageant journeys, celebrating their accomplishments and encouraging them every step of the way.
Volunteering at my local animal shelter and advocating for animals in need, a cause that is especially close to my heart as a special-needs bulldog rescuer.

A crown is more than a title—it’s an opportunity to make a difference, serve others, and leave a positive impact wherever you go. I am grateful for every opportunity I’ve had to represent Universal Miss and look forward to continuing this incredible journey as I prepare for Nationals! 👑

Countless hours of practice, endless rehearsals with my sister queen, East South Central Miss! From Dress fittings, skin prep, and so much more preparation have all led to this moment. Every late night, every detail, and every ounce of hard work has been worth it.

As we get closer to Nationals, I am filled with excitement, gratitude, and anticipation for the journey ahead. This experience has already given me so many incredible memories, and I can’t wait to step onto that stage and represent my title, my platform, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

The crown is in sight, and I am ready to give it my all!

As we get closer to stepping onto the national stage in Allen, Texas, I wanted to share a little about me!

My name is Terri Teague, and I am honored to represent as Universal Miss East South Central Elite Miss . My platform, Behind the Badge, is a cause that is very close to my heart. Through this platform, I work to support and recognize the brave men and women in law enforcement who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

I am blessed to be married to my husband, a Master Police Officer, and together we are proud parents to our three amazing children, Hudson, Riley, and Carly. They are my biggest supporters and my greatest motivation.

When I’m not advocating for law enforcement, I own and operate Gingerflare Decorating, where I get to express my creativity and help bring beautiful visions to life.

I also have a huge passion for rescuing special needs English and French Bulldogs. Our family has opened our hearts and home to many bulldogs in need, and we currently share our lives with three very spoiled bulldogs of our own.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me fishing, boating, or making memories with family and friends. Those simple moments are what I cherish most.

💙 One of my greatest passions is my platform, Behind the Badge. Through this platform, I strive to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the communities they serve by promoting support, appreciation, and understanding for our police officers. As the wife of a police officer, I have witnessed firsthand the sacrifices made by law enforcement families, and I am committed to honoring those who put on the badge each day to protect and serve. Supporting our heroes in blue is more than a platform—it’s a mission that is close to my heart.

🐾 When I’m not spending time with my family, I have a passion for rescuing special needs bulldogs. I currently have three bulldogs of my own and love giving these special babies the care and love they deserve.

In my free time, you’ll usually find me fishing, boating, or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

I also love pageantry and the opportunities it provides to serve others, advocate for causes close to my heart, and make a positive impact in my community.

My creative side shines through my love for interior and floral design. I am the owner of Ginger Flare Decorating, where I enjoy helping bring beautiful spaces and special events to life.
