All set for tomorrow.

For the last few weeks, with the help of my sisters & , I’ve been making some lifestyle changes. I had told them that they had 3 weeks to help me change my habits and so far it’s worked.

Tomorrow we start a 9 week challenge and I’m terrified and excited all at the same time. Can’t wait to see the changes.

Here’s to not being 21 anymore!

Last month I started a new fitness routine and I have to give a loud shoutout to this amazing lineup. They help alleviate the aces and pains that come with my née routine. They all pe*****te deep into my muscles and joints providing much needed relief. Oh and my hubby says I smell like root beer, 😂

So yesterday I went on a pity party trip but today I woke up feeling grateful. Grateful that I have a home, grateful I have my family, grateful for my relationship with Jehovah, grateful for my friends, grateful for these little bottles that support me in ways that I never new they could.

So today, I choose to be grateful because quite honestly it could be worse.

Feeling so deflated right about now.

During COVID my husband and I have been working on the honey do list, you know that list that you keep putting off because there’s no time, no money, no energy. Well we figured that there was no excuse now, after all he now has the time.

Well we’ve successfully painted the house and installed new bamboo flooring in the girls bedroom and my office. This weekend we were supposed to start in our bedroom but when my husband removed the existing pergo flooring we found that some of the original hardwood floor was rotted. That forced us to stop and figure out what was going on. Today we cut out a portion of the original hardwood and not only was the floor damaged but the subfloor is also rotted. Now we need to figure out where the water leak came from and if the problem was taken care of or if it’s still an issue.

What makes me feel even worse is that though we’ve hit this roadblock, I’m deflated but my sweet husband is reassuring me everything will be ok and that he’ll just work a few more shifts to cover this unforeseen expense.

But, even though this is happening my house smells good thanks to my diffuser. 😊

So excited to get started with this project. There are a few major things I’ve always wanted to change since we bought the house. One of those things were the floors, I don’t like Pergo floors because at least the ones on my floors were high maintenance, if anything spilled you had to run and make sure you dried it all up because if not it would sponge up. But finally the day has come to bid farewell to the floors (at least on the second floor) and say hello to these beauties. Can’t wait to show you all how they turn out.

And I need to shout out my hubby for working so hard to provide for us and then using his free time to get my crazy projects done.

What is the one thing that you hadn’t been able to get to because time wasn’t letting you? For us it’s been painting our house. We had lived with the same colors for over 10 years and we finally got around to changing it. We went with Light French Gray for the living room and office and couldn’t be happier. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today, we’re finishing up the ceilings and then putting up some picture ledges in the office by the sofa and my oily shelf beside it can’t wait to see it all done. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
