📢 Healthy Blue will stop operating as a Louisiana Medicaid health plan after December 31, 2026—but this does not mean your Medicaid coverage is ending.
Healthy Blue members should continue using their current coverage as usual and watch for official instructions about transitioning to another Healthy Louisiana plan. Keep your contact information updated with Louisiana Medicaid so you don’t miss your plan options or selection deadline.
Before selecting a new plan, confirm that it covers your doctors, pharmacy, medications, and other healthcare services. We’ll share official enrollment dates and additional instructions once released.

What Happens During a Follow-Up Appointment?
Follow-up appointments are an important part of ongoing psychiatric care.
They provide an opportunity for your provider to review your progress, assess your ongoing needs, and determine appropriate next steps in your treatment.
Consistent follow-up is especially important when medication management or ongoing monitoring is part of your care.
Have a follow-up appointment coming up? Make sure you attend as scheduled.

An ADHD evaluation is a process—not an automatic diagnosis.
At Pierre Care Services, QbCheck testing is required for ADHD evaluations, but completing the test does not guarantee an ADHD diagnosis or medication prescription.
Your provider considers the testing results together with your clinical evaluation and other relevant information before determining the appropriate next steps.
Interested in an ADHD evaluation? Contact Pierre Care Services to learn more.

What to Know Before Your First Appointment
Your first psychiatric appointment is a time for a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and assessment.
Before your visit, make sure your required intake forms are completed and your payment information is up to date. For telehealth, you’ll also need a private setting and a stable internet connection.
Medication may or may not be prescribed. Treatment decisions are based on clinical judgment and diagnostic criteria.
Preparing ahead of time can help your appointment go more smoothly. Contact Pierre Care Services if you have questions about the process.
