Before You Arrive

✔️ Book your appointment online.
✔️ Complete any required forms and waivers.
✔️ Keep an active card on file. You can pay cash upon arrival for your tub time, if desired.
✔️ If applicable, pay any required security deposit before your appointment.

When You Arrive

🚗 Park (front or back), come on in 👣👣👣👣, check in with us 👋👋, and grab your extras 📻(if you requested any).

We'll verify your reservation, answer any last-minute questions, and show you the amenities and to your private room. Your hot tub will already be cleaned, sanitized, filled, heated (or cooled - to your requested temperature), and ready for you to enjoy.

Then...

🫧 Relax. Unwind. Soak. Repeat.

When your appointment is over⏰⏰, simply shower, dry off, gather your belongings and head out. We'll take care of the cleaning, sanitizing, draining, refilling, and preparing everything for the next guest.

You came here to relax—not to do chores. We do the tough stuff so all you have to do is enjoy your time.

Let us explain why we're appointment only.

Wade's & Co. is locally owned and operated by Gary and Kerstin, not a large company with a staff sitting behind a front desk. We're a husband-and-wife team who currently balance full-time jobs while continually investing our time into creating and refining your experience.

Being appointment only allows us to focus on what matters most: YOU.
You won't drive here to find us closed.
Your privacy and comfort are protected.
Your room and atmosphere customized before you arrive.
Your experience isn't interrupted by unexpected walk-ins (You never know who might just walk-in 👀)
You can better balance family, work, and we can provide the level of service we believe you deserve.

For these reasons, we require a minimum of three hours' notice when scheduling online. This gives us time to prepare your space and ensure your visit is everything it should be.

Gas isn't cheap, and neither is your time. We'd rather have you arrive knowing everything is ready than take a chance on catching us during one of life's many side quests.

Likewise, we kindly ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Last-minute cancellations affect not only our ability to accommodate others, but also our own time outside of Wade's & Co.—and that time is valuable to us, too.

We celebrate Juneteenth each year on June 19 to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States.

Although President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation effective January 1, 1863, it did not immediately free all enslaved people. The proclamation applied only to areas in rebellion against the Union, meaning many enslaved people remained in bo***ge until Union forces could enforce it.

On June 19, 1865—more than two years later—Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, and issued General Order No. 3, announcing that enslaved people in Texas were free. This event is now celebrated as Juneteenth.

Crazy, right? Freedom had been declared in 1863, yet thousands remained enslaved until the end of the Civil War made enforcement possible. Many enslaved people sought freedom by fleeing to Union lines, where they were often aided by Union soldiers. The destruction of slavery became an explicit goal of the Union war effort.

The first community-wide "Jubilee Day" celebrations were held in 1866. While observances declined in some areas during the early 20th century, interest grew again during the Civil Rights Movement and expanded further in the 1970s, with celebrations emphasizing African American freedom, achievement, culture, and the arts.

Texas became the first state to establish Juneteenth as an official state holiday through legislation passed in 1979. Today, all 50 states and the District of Columbia recognize Juneteenth in some form.

In 2021, Juneteenth National Independence Day became a federal holiday—the first new federal holiday established since Martin Luther King Jr. Day in 1983.

Juneteenth is also celebrated beyond the United States, including by the Mascogos of Coahuila, Mexico, descendants of Black Seminoles who escaped slavery and settled there during the 19th century.

These events are within the recent past, less than 60 years ago. Many, if not all, of our parents and grandparents have experienced slavery at its peak, unfortunately.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not only something declared—it is something that must be realized, enforced, and protected.

At Wade's and Co., we honor Juneteenth because every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness and we recognize the struggles, resilience, and achievements of those who came before us. It helps us appreciate the freedoms we enjoy today and inspires us to keep moving forward together.
