On this day last year, Hole Cleanser was born — the first wash of its kind, formulated specifically for the sensitive barrier and microbiome of the perianal area.

A lot of people asked us why tf would they need a special, ube-tinted wash for back there. The reality is that traditional body wash is not great for every different skin type on our bodies. Fragrances, essential oils, harsh surfactants that create thick lather—all of that can disrupt the delicate pH between the cheeks, strip natural moisture, and make skin more itchy + prone to irritation.
