A HUGE candle restock is coming y'all's way starting this week and rolling into next week!

I know a lot of you have been looking for candles, but between Mother’s & Father’s Day, I simply couldn’t pour them fast enough. 😅

Every single one is hand-poured right here in the shop using a luxurious coconut apricot wax, vegetable-based dyes, and premium phthalate-free, mutagen-free fragrances. They’re housed in beautiful premium ceramic containers and finished with laser-etched acacia lids (etched in-house, so I can personalize them by request).

These premium fragrances are blended right here at Scentister, which means you can ONLY find them here. (I source almost all of my premium oils from small high-end fragrance houses with every single scent made here in the USA.)

Every label is designed here, printed here, and hand-applied to each container.

Look for more candles later this week with the majority coming your way NEXT week!

Also, all Mop-Man scents have been restocked and are ready to go!

The most rewarding part of running Scentister isn’t the number of items I sell or the followers I gain.

It’s the genuine smiles when someone walks out finding exactly what they needed. It’s hearing how a product brought comfort on a tough day, how Mop-Man cut through that stubborn mess nothing else would touch, or how Odor Exorcist healed a breakout another deodorant caused.

At the end of the day, this little shop in Beckley is about so much more than products or renown—it’s about the real connections. I have my weeks where I feel down or discouraged, pouring everything into long days and early mornings—and then, like clockwork, someone walks through the door or messages at just the right moment with a kind word, a smile, or a story that lifts me right back up. The conversations at the counter, the stories shared, those little moments of connection—it all reminds me why I pour my heart into the products I make. It makes the dream feel real.

That’s honestly the beauty of it all.

I always say I have the best customers in the world, and I mean it. Y'all inspire me. Sometimes I'm so touched at the kindness y'all show—the encouragement, the patience, the heartfelt comments—that it truly makes my day and keeps me going.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me! I met so many new faces this week, and I'm so grateful.

I walked into the shop this morning and was immediately hit with a VERY foul odor and nervous-looking blue stinker.

After some investigation, I realized that while Hawaiian Hillbilly Odor Exorcist smells amazing going in, it does NOT smell the same coming out. (If you know what I mean. 😆)

I told him the only 'toot' allowed in the shop is Fruity Tooty (it smells like fruity cereal, milk, marshmallow, and a hint of cake) and it should NOT be eaten...even though it smells like you could eat it.

Lesson learned: even natural deodorant should ALWAYS be used externally. 😂

COMING JULY 10TH: MOUNTAIN STATE FAIR

Well, while I was closed yesterday, this little blue menace got into the Odor Exorcist stash. 😆

I think he got confused about what kind of product it is because he straight-up gobbled down multiple sticks. (Apparently he liked the way the organic coconut and organic Hawaiian flowers tasted.)

For those who don’t know: Odor Exorcist is my all-natural deodorant made right here with organic ingredients. I formulated it and started making it after I couldn’t find a natural deodorant that actually worked.

That being said…his breath is MUCH better now. And since Hawaiian Hillbilly is 100% natural (even down to the organic fragrance), I know he’ll be okay.
