google maps technically works in venice but the second you hit those tiny alleys you lose signal and it has no idea where you are. you will get lost. just leave extra time and let it happen — half the fun is wandering into something you didn’t plan.

the gondola was €90 for 30 minutes. the water taxi was €70 and took us and all our bags right to where we needed to go. no crowds, no waiting, and it felt like a private tour of the canals pulling in. worth every euro.

if you want to feel like you’re walking through something out of a movie, this is it. every ceiling is gold, every wall is art. didn’t expect a €35 ticket to feel this luxurious.

two Korean restaurants in Rome and Venice, one Chinese spot in Siena… and we’re not done 😭 the pasta and pizza are unreal, but somehow my dad always finds Asian food. and honestly? seeing him this happy is all that matters 🥟🇮🇹
