Next week I'll be stepping away from the treatment room, fitness space, yoga room, and dojo to spend time with family, rest, and recharge.

Today was one of those moments that makes all the behind-the-scenes work worth it.

My first Empowered Wellness Evaluation is complete.

Watching someone begin to connect the dots instead of feeling overwhelmed reminded me why I built The Wellness Path.

Helping women recover, move, and thrive isn't about giving another workout or another list of things to do.

It's about creating a path that makes sense for their life.

I'm grateful for the trust, and I'm excited for what's ahead.

One thing you'll never hear me say in a massage session:

"Just relax."

If you could simply choose to relax, you probably would have before you walked through my door.

My job isn't to tell your body what to do.

My job is to create an environment where your body feels safe enough to do what it already knows how to do.

That's a very different approach.

Things I Wish Everyone Knew About Their Body

When people think about stress, they often think about feeling overwhelmed or anxious.

But stress doesn't just affect your mind. It affects your body, too.

I've seen stress contribute to muscle tension, headaches, jaw pain, changes in breathing, poor sleep, and even make old injuries flare up.

That doesn't mean the pain is "all in your head." It means your brain and body are constantly communicating.

Understanding how stress affects your body can be an important step toward feeling better.
