Part of our Sewing Series: Class 102 ✨🧵

Join Amy McCorckle of and Briar Kemper of .river.rose for a fun, hands-on sewing 102 class in the Sewing Series where you’ll create your own reusable tote bag—perfect for everyday use or market runs! This project is a great next step after learning the sewing basics! Whether you are a beginner or an avid sewer, you are welcome to join us!

Supplies for the project are included, but please bring your own sewing machine, white thread, basic sewing supplies that are specific to your machine (bobbin, needle etc) and get ready to stitch something beautiful, durable, (and quite practical)!

When: April 12th, 2026 at 12pm to 2pm

Where: The Workhouse, 50 SE Scott St #6, Bend OR

Have you been interested in learning how to use your sewing machine but missed your chance to have grandma teach you?

Enter Amy from : a professional seamstress and small business owner of Tate & Adele who specializes in handmade children's clothing, known for unique, heirloom-quality pieces like jumpers and dresses.

Amy has graciously agreed to teach our lovely Bend community how to use those dusty old sewing machines so we too can create handcrafted goodies!

The first class will be held on February 22nd, Sunday, at 2pm at The Workhouse. This should last about an hour.

Amy will be hanging around after class to answer questions.

Please bring your sewing machine with you!! We will have 1-2 machines available if you are unable to locate a machine, however keep in mind that the greatest benefit will come from working with your own machine as each one is slightly different.

There will be limited spots, 7 available for this first class, if there is great interest, we will host another 101 class.

Cost: $45 per person
