Every year, I love giving my Christmas tree a new theme — and creating a topper that’s a little unexpected.
Not every idea works (looking at you, phoenix-that-just-looked-like-a-chicken 🤭), but this year’s travel tree feels like a win.
I drilled holes in the top and bottom of a globe, then drilled smaller holes in all the places I’ve been, filled it with lights, crossed my fingers… and watched it glow.
Even the equator lit up! ✨
It feels like a little reminder of adventures past — and those still ahead.
As this season comes to an end, I hope you all have had experiences this year that bring a similar smile to your faces, whether it involves travel, or just time with those you love.
Happy Holidays and Joyeux Noël! 🎄🌍

Same beautiful client. Two different color appointments.
This is what thoughtful, intentional grey coverage looks like ✨
Grey coverage does not mean you’re locked into one exact shade forever.
With the right plan, we can go lighter or deeper from visit to visit — all while keeping greys covered and softly blended.
Your hair can change with the seasons, your skin tone, your lifestyle… or simply because you feel like it!
Grey coverage isn’t about staying the same.
It’s about choices, flexibility, and hair that evolves right along with you. 💙

Today was my birthday, and if I’m honest, it has sometimes been a challenging day for me.
Today was not one of those.
I started off strong at Pilates with two of my favorite people,
Followed by breakfast with my sassy neighbor,
Then coffee and shopping with a dear friend,
Raced over and bought the most beautiful bouquet at Donner Flower Shop,
After that, went downtown and found a parking spot right in front of The Brickhouse (that in itself was a birthday miracle 😂), where I picked up a delicious dinner, and was surprised with an amazing birthday dessert from them. Thank you, Brickhouse!
Came home to see messages from so many people that it was a little overwhelming in the best way.
Thank you all so much for making my birthday so special.
I am infinitely grateful for each and every one of you!

Transforming those natural greys into a beautiful pale blonde is all about gentle blending.
Adding a few tones turns those greys into a soft blonde glow - just like that!
The best part? We do it so softly that there’s no harsh line—just a seamless, glowing blend that looks totally natural and gives you much more flexibility with scheduling.
That’s a big bonus for those of us with grey hair!

Sometimes I miss my red hair…..
When a client wants any shade of red, I get a little pang of longing.
Then I remember that with my now white hair, I look like a candy cane after about two weeks! 😂🤣
Now, I get to help other people find their inner redhead and I’m very happy with that! 🥰
It sure does look beautiful on this gorgeous client! ❤️

With a heavy heart, and sore legs, I bid au revoir to one of my new favorite places.
I met so many nice people, crossed the city on SO many metro trains, and truly had such a magical experience.
Back in my little pod, I’ll admit I was pretty sad to be leaving, but I’ll definitely be back!
Thank you all for going along with me for the ride of a lifetime! I hope you enjoyed the pictures, and my crazy narrations. 🤗🩵
I’m back on US soil now…..and hello Seattle! 💙💚
Almost home!

Musée Carnavalet
Part 2
This was on my top ten list to see, and I was so glad to have made it!
It’s another free museum, and it has a full history on the revolutions. Fascinating!
I loved this place, and it was in the Marais, so I used the last of the energy I had wandering the neighborhood.
I couldn’t have found a better place to spend my last day! 🥰

I rallied and covered a lot of ground on my last day in Paris!
After the Petite Palais, I walked down the Champs-Élysées where the people watching was super fun.
It was supposed to rain that afternoon, but held off until I was ready to come down from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Merci, Paris! 😘
I was exhausted, but had one more stop to complete my day.
Off to the Musée Carnavalet!

Wednesday, last day in Paris. 😢
I rallied from that 10 mile bike ride, and set out for the Petite Palais to have coffee in the inner courtyard.
Spoiler alert…it was closed for renovation. 😩
It was a nice walk through the Place de la Concorde, and on to the Grand Palais and Petite Palais.
There was a line out and around the corner for the Grand Palais, but I walked right in to the Petite Palais.
Beautiful, and free, museum with amazing sculptures and art. Absolutely gorgeous!
Finished there, then continued on down the Champs-Élysées ….

Versailles
Part 3
Okay….this was Tuesday.
I don’t know what possessed me to take a bike tour of Versailles, but I sure did!
Clearly, I was excited for the experience, and not thinking about the 10 mile ride! Holy s**t!
After an average of 6-8 miles walking per day for almost two weeks, I apparently didn’t think about how tired I’d be! 😅
Toby was our guide from Fat Tire Tours, and he was hilarious! He also was very knowledgeable and gave us amazing histories about the sights.
With plenty of breaks, thank God! 🙌
We went to the local market, got some picnic supplies, rode out to the gardens and rode allllll the way to the end.
Just about the time I thought I was going to pass out (it was so hot that day!), we stopped and ate lunch in the shade.
We saw the Trianon, Petite Trianon, and Marie Antoinette’s village. It was beautiful!
We then went on a private tour of the King’s apartments, and then I braved the hall of mirrors….which wasn’t that bad! I had to wait a couple of times to get pictures, but the crowd wasn’t nearly as dense as Giverny.
I scooted out of there after that, ride the train back into Paris, and promptly passed out from exhaustion! 😂
