Starting in 2026, Glam 2 Go will no longer be offering hair services. With Lindsey stepping back from the business, she will no longer be available to accommodate those appointments.

Passing the Brush

It all started when I came home from working with MAC Cosmetics in Washington, D.C. A love of makeup artistry and service that I wanted to bring back to the Quad Cities. I got started with a plan right away. I built my kit, got a bridal fair booked and away I went. I booked 9 weddings my first bridal fair and haven’t had to set up a booth since and that is all because of the amazing men and women I have met in this great community. Not only have I built something I am proud of, but my kids are proud of as well- and that means more to me than anything. I have shown my two daughters that even though you are going through a really hard time, YOU have to be the one who picks yourself up and gets through. No one is going to do it for you. Glam 2 Go ( I call it g2g) and it’s amazing brides helped me believe that love is out there for me and that one day, I would find it again and low and behold, I did! Not a lot of people know this but I was doing a brides trial on the night that my now husband came in for a haircut after not seeing him in over 17 years. The rest is history.

G2g has given me life and purpose and something for my kids to be proud of and now that they are older, and one is off to college in the fall- it’s time for me to slowly step back and pass the brush to someone else. For the 2026 wedding season, I will only be doing 2 weddings a month. If you are wanting to specifically work with me, just message the G2G page and request me as the artist- otherwise, Kelsey Olive will be taking over operations going forward.

Kelsey has worked with me for the last 10 years and I have seen her grow into an amazing human being, mom and artist. This is what g2g was founded on, and I want that to continue. I couldn’t think of a better person to continue this legacy that we have started 13 years ago.

I encourage you to give Kelsey all the love you have given me and continue to book with the best in the QC!

A couple more announcements along with this is that Glam 2 Go will only provide makeup services going forward. We have quite a few stylists that we work with and will continue to refer them to our brides but I will no longer be doing both hair and makeup, like I have in the past. ( If you have already booked hair and makeup with me for 2026- don’t worry, I will still be doing that for you! 😉)

It is with great honor that I introduce you to the new owner of Glam 2 Go, Kelsey Olive.
