This is a toasted roast beef with horseradish. I made at home with bread from . It was perfect. I see so many people saying they hate it and it falls apart. I haven’t eaten it cold. But toasted it was perfect.

This is what I use to decide if it’s gluten or I’m just sensitive.

When you just want one piece of bread and not a whole load. Will subs sell me just a loaf?

One thing gluten-free life teaches you is how expensive convenience can get.

A pack of gluten-free buns can easily cost $8-$10, and half the time they go stale before you use them all.

Meanwhile, will sell their gluten-free bread separately. It’s individually wrapped, travels well, freezes well, and doesn’t take up much room in your suitcase or cooler.

For road trips, vacations, theme parks, beach days, and those “everyone’s grabbing food but me” moments, having a few of these tucked away can save money, save stress, and save you from settling for whatever you can find to eat.

It’s one of those little celiac hacks that makes life feel a bit more normal.

POV: one restaurant made me feel completely safe eating gluten free… and one made me leave hungry.

was honestly a 10/10 experience for allergy dining. They had allergy protocols, the manager personally handled my order, and I felt like they actually understood cross contact and celiac concerns. THAT is how you make gluten free guests feel included. That’s also why we go back over and over.

Then there was thelastmangobarandchill it may be a “Buffet” restaurant but I learned the hard way that that doesn’t mean they all do the same things. No allergy menu or menu notations, no protocol, and honestly I had no confidence for someone with celiac disease. I ended up leaving hungry because even though my burnt burger tested gluten free when my test kit I wasn’t sure I just tested burnt material. My salad was fine once they brought me one without croutons. The drink was a 9/10. I was tipsy since I was on an empty stomach lol

My family felt bad for me. The guilt a family feels while enjoying a meal and watching someone else be hungry is real. This is why gluten free people get so excited when restaurants truly try. It changes the entire vacation experience for everyone not just the gluten free person.

Bucket list item. When my girls all were old enough to say “we want to go with you”. We traveled to Orange Beach to see our favorite for the 4th time in concert.
