We have some Spring 2026 nuc reservations that just became available. 5 deep frames with a laying queen, brood, and stores. Our bees come from a line that's been in the Southern Tier for over 30 years.

many honeybees sold in new york are raised in georgia or florida and trucked north. the queens have never lived through winter. never dealt with our nectar flow. never experienced that fun thing where it's 60° on tuesday and 28° on thursday.
ours are different. raised right here in the southern tier. the queens are locally adapted and the breed was handed down to us 14 years ago from a local beekeper who themselves was in the area for over 30 years. They are super hardy but also very well tempered.
every nuc gets inspected before handoff with 5 deep frames, brood in all stages, a queen who's already laying and ready to grow.
spring 2026 reservations are open with spots filling up for May pickups at dawn or dusk (so the bees are all home)

Raw honey from local beehives in Vestal, NY cared for by fourth-generation family beekeepers. We never feed our bees any sugar or syrup as they help us pollinate our fruit orchard, collecting honey from our fruit blossoms including peach, blueberry, and raspberry to name a few.
We have some 1.5lb pint jars for $15 and 3lb quart jars for $25 in both Summer(lighter) and Fall(dark) honey available with special holiday cards! Great for adding to your tea, holiday baking & cooking, or makes for a thoughtful gift!
