In 2005, after research by John Fred Spack brought to light recorded but dusty documentation possessed by the State Medical Board, the Ohio Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association paid off the burial expense and placed a marker on Ms. Forbes’ grave.

I make a purposeful effort not to ask for assistance, but I really need your help.

I will be collecting donations for Hurricane Helene relief from Wednesday 10/2/2024- Wednesday 10/9/2024.

As many of you may know, my mother, father, and sister live and western North Carolina in close proximity to downtown Asheville. I have been in contact with them throughout.
Many are still unaccounted for and missing. Others have terminal or acute illness or injury and are unable to reach medical care. Women are begging for diapers in grocery store parking lots. Flood waters have yet to recede in many portions of the region. Mudslides have wiped out access to food and necessities. Many are still without water and electricity. Gas station lines have been 2-4 hours long, with no deliveries able to reach stations with fuel supplies expected to run out soon. Others are grieving the loss of their homes or family members.
My mother works in a grocery store and stated that soon the stores will run out of food and the distribution centers are still inoperable. Soon, food and supplies will run out.

PLEASE HELP!

I will be leaving a donation box outside of my home for anyone to drop off any non perishable goods and necessities to personally take down on October 10, 2024.

What can you donate?
Diapers, gas cans, baby formula, water, toiletries, toilet paper, first aid kit, sanitary products, canned goods, batteries, matches, Pet food, blankets, plastic sheeting, two way radios, etc

- I will also be using 100% of services sales to purchase necessities to those affected for appointments scheduled on October 3rd & 4th, 2024 to take to Western NC. You can book an appointment and help at https://book.squareup.com/appointments/k039dipx8m1msc/location/LZ6MTSK0WFWST/services

My mom via text this afternoon: “This area isn't even getting those things and if they are it's in certain locations and most people can't get to them. Once our grocery stores are empty it's going to be bad...we have been told all our deliveries are on hold as our distribution center was part of the flooding and devastation in black mountain”
