The light and joy of my life.

I don’t know what I’d do without this cutie pie by my side. He brings me so much happiness and comfort on the bad days, and on the good. I couldn’t ask for a better doggo.

Those of you that know Cube know that he’s the sweetest, most sassy little thing. He would go everywhere with me if he could, my little ride or die.

Everyday I wake up I get reminded of how precious he is to me, and how my soul connects to his like no other. Sometimes I get sad and cry thinking about the fact that someday Im going to have to let go of him. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s taught me so many lessons, has helped me grow, and become a better person. He calms my anxiety and helps to keep me grounded.

If 2020 has taught me anything, it’s to love with everything you’ve got, and try to fond the positivity in everything, to be in the moment and appreciate the things you have.

Do you have a doggo that you love with all your heart?! I want to see them!! DM me pictures of your little best friends and share with me why you love them so much!

My baby turns 5 this month.

How fast the time flies by. It feels like just yesterday when he was a puppy eating doors and blinds. Now he’s my best friend , and I love him so stinking much. He goes almost everywhere with me, and if I had my way it’d be literally everywhere.

He’s always so happy and comforting. Always happy just to spend time with me and not ask anything in return, except perhaps for a few cuddles and pets.

How did we get so lucky as humans to get to enjoy all these beautiful animals and get to connect to them in spirit? Cube and I can’t understand each other’s language all the time, but we can feel each other on such a much deeper level.

He’s with me for every run, every workout, through my thick and thins, my highs and lows. He’s not going to read this of course, but Insta has become somewhat of a personal public diary for me, so talking about how much I love him just brings me so much joy. Anyone who knows me knows that I love my Ice Cube more than anything in the world. I’m so blessed I get to spend some of the best years of my life with the best, more pure soul on this earth. I’m so thankful the universe brought him my way.

Grinning because I accomplished a big goal of mine right before this picture was taken. Goals and Happiness go hand in hand for me. I’m very motivated by getting results and feeling proud of myself.

When I began the year, I had so many goals. So far, I’ve crossed a few off that list. Get my CMCA, run a 5k, started to learn Spanish, workout consistently. I have so many more I am working on right now.

When I first invested in myself with my workout programs and health food, I had no idea how it would affect me. I thought I was working out to get fit. I had no idea that making the goal to workout consistently would also give me the motivation to become my highest self.

I’ve started to happily wake up an hour or two earlier than normal to meditate, journal, read, practice Spanish, and get my workout in before work to make my day go by better. I used to think people were crazy when they got up earlier than a half hour before needing to leave for work. Now I’m happily one of those people, because I’ve seen how the benefits outweigh the negatives, and How it’s truly enriched and bettered my life.

I’m so much more rounded a a person. I’m so much happier. I love myself SO MUCH MORE than I EVER have. I want everyone to be able to feel this way, so in love with yourself, the things you’re doing, the person you are becoming. Today is the last day of the discount for getting the same program I started off with for $20 off. If you’re interested in falling back in love with yourself, please DM me and I can give you more information.

Love and heal yourself.

One of my favorite go-to breakfast/lunch meal prep. Delicious, easy, takes thirty minutes or less, and it’s one of the best vegan meals I’ve created in my opinion. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Nutrition is key in having energy, results from exercise, good mental health, and skin health. Meal prepping is essential for my journey in staying healthy, and helps keep me accountable for my actions.

Ingredients:
Vegan butter
1 pack extra firm tofu
3 bell peppers, diced (I did a variety of colors)
Spinach ( a few handfuls)
1 pack beyond breakfast vegan sausage links, or vegan meat substitute or your choice.
Two red potatoes, diced
Avocados and salsa for topping
2B Mindset friendly for breakfast or lunch.

Seasonings:
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Black pepper
Himalayan salt
Dash of Tumeric
Nutritional yeast seasoning
Cumin
(All to taste)

Begin by heating up vegan butter, then add potatoes. Sautéed until potatoes begin to get a little crispy. Add in bell peppers, sautéed for 3-4 minutes more. Add in breakfast sausage, cook for 5 more minutes. Crumble in tofu, and add seasoning and mix. Cook for an additional 3 minutes. Divide between 4 airtight containers and allow to cook before storing in the fridge for up 5 days.

We ran our first Thanksgiving 5k Today! Time 34 minutes at the Ann Morrison Park!

So grateful for friends to work out and run with and grow with!

So thankful for my ability to run and keep persevering even when my mind tells me to stop.

So thankful for programs that are diverse and have built me up to be able to run a 5k this year, which has been a goal of mine for a while.

So many things to be thankful for, so grateful for your friendship, so thankful we did this together, and so grateful for how much you inspire me

Happy Grateful Day 🥰❤️

When I first started working out, I remember that I would spend 1-3 hours at the gym working out, but a lot of the time was just messing around on my phone watching videos or browsing social media.

It would take a lot of time out of my day. Driving to the gym, putting my stuff down, working out, grabbing my stuff, and driving home. Then I’d do the other things I needed to in my day, if I had the time. Going to the gym and coming back home took an extra half hour to hour out of my day.

When I decided to start working out from home and invested in a program to help me do so, my life started to change for the better. I began to have the time to meditate and take care of myself in the mornings. I began to want to change for the better and grow. I started seeing results. Not physically at first, but I could feel them. I had so much more energy, and so much more times s motivation. Instead of spending 2 hours at the gym, I was spending 20-40 minutes working out from home, and they were so efficient.

This journey has kept me so consistent, and I’m so in love with it and happy to share it with people. The same program I got started with over a year ago is currently on sale for $20 off through November 30th! DM me for the details!

There’s so many things I’m grateful for.

For my ability to work out and run, and for the personal trainers in my life with my program that help me accomplish goals.

For my home, and warm blankets and coffee to warm up my insides.

For mi Amor and the unconditional love he gives me, even when I’m acting spoiled.

And I’m beyond grateful for this bundle of joy on four legs. He brings so much love and happiness into my life. The light of my life.

What are you grateful for in your life this week?

Happiness doesn’t come overnight. Happiness doesn’t come from money. Happiness doesn’t begin or end with another person. Happiness begins inside of YOU.

Look at this person in the above photos. Same person, different periods of her life. The first two pictures are five few years apart. In the first, I’m struggling with an eating disorder. The second, I’m still struggling with an eating disorder. People who knew me when I was this skinny, knew I wasn’t eating right. My parents had just made me leave their home due to conflicting beliefs. I was depressed, suicidal, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life. I was eating a granola bar or a frozen burrito once a day, if that, and grateful for the feeling of hunger because it was better than just feeling horrible and like a disappointment all the time. People would ask me if I was eating enough and I’d brush it off, because I didn’t think I needed help and was fine hurting myself. I would work out for hours and not see results, other than being scary skinny, because I wasn’t eating right.

When I met Tyler, I started eating more because he was helping me to heal my wounds and find happiness, but I still wasn’t eating right, and I wasn’t working out anymore. I started to gain a lot of weight. If you know anything about eating disorders, anorexia can seriously mess up your body and metabolism. I was happier, but not completely satisfied. I was still missing something in my life. I had found my home and forever family in Tyler, but I hadn’t truly discovered myself yet. My body felt like it was in full recovery mode, and I was so hungry all the time, and my body would store everything as fat cells to save for a later time, since my body knows I have a tendency to eat a lot, and then not eat hardly anything for several days. I knew I needed a change. I wasn’t comfortable with my body at all, and my body dysmorphia, which I’ve dealt with my entire life, was feeling at its highest peak, bringing my confidence down.

Then I met Brandy. This wonderful, cosmically charged individual just so full of love and light. She seemed so happy in everything she did ..... (continued in comments)
