Blocking Monday!! I’m excited to get these off tomorrow and get wire and head size ribbons in them. Then the trimming can begin! I like all the steps of making a hat. Seeing them first take form, then securing the shape with wire, hand-sewing ribbons on the edges and the insides, trimming the hat with flowers, feathers and other millinery wonders and finally sewing in a lining and elastic and a comb to help keep it in place.
