I would officially like to introduce our newest member to our little family out here in Boston! Meet Olive 🫒
For the past two weeks we did a trial run to see if she would be comfortable in our lives and to see if she would be a good fit for our lifestyle. We’ve been wanting to get a pet for some time now, but the timing never felt right. Then I had a coworker approach me saying their friend needed to re-home one of their cats.
While the first couple days were rough for both parties, she is starting to feel more and more comfortable with us. She is a shy and timid cat, but has already earned the nickname of little miss sass.
This is your warning that there will be lots of cat pictures and videos.

I will be the first to tell you I hate arm day…
But look at these guns!! 💪🏻
I haven’t had this kind of arm strength since my gymnastics years!!
AND this is the results after modifying for a majority of the program!!
Now the real question is how many push ups and pull ups can I do?

Hammer family trip 2022!
While it was their first time to Boston, it was their first time visiting after I moved out.
Trolly rides, freedom trail, aquarium, breweries, Fenway, catan, and some great food were just a few of the great memories we made this past weekend.
We didn’t hit everything we wanted, but that’s why this won’t be their only visit 😉 hopefully it will be warmer next time 😆
Who is next?!?

Life isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon.
I never truly understood this saying until now. Yes yes pace yourself or you will never get to the end. Got it? Good! But in reality it’s not just about pacing yourself.
There will be times where you feel great and push the pace a little faster. There will also be times where you need to take pit stops to refuel. The part I wasn’t prepared for was the part where I had to believe in myself to keep going, to finish even when I felt like I couldn’t lift my feet. It was by far the hardest thing I had do mentally.
This experience during my marathon had me reflecting a lot about how we live.
We are so eager to get to the finish line! We race through the early miles, passing up big mile markers, and then we get to the back half of the marathon where you notice your legs starting to get heavier, you’re running out of energy, and it’s a struggle to keep your head in the race. The only thing you are tell I get yourself is one foot in front of the other, you are strong, one foot in front of the other, you are brave, one foot in front of the other. With the last couple miles in sight you find a second wind to just cross that finish line.
We all have good days and bad days. Days where we need to rest and days when we need to push ourselves out of our comfort zone. Just remember you don’t have to do it all at once and don’t have to do it as the pace as our friends and neighbors.
Go at your pace and enjoy the journey. You got this 😉

My first trip to Boston was THREE YEARS AGO 😳😱!!!!
My patients always ask me where I’m from and when I tell them they are shocked. Then it’s followed up with the question “how did you get out here?!”
I would’ve never believed you if you told me I would move to a big city after college, let alone Boston! But here we are going on my third year!
The strong independent woman in me use to tell patients it was my job that brought me out here.
But the truth is, I followed a boy🙈 and I haven’t looked back!
I’m still looking forward to discovering new spots with him and any friends that might be in town 😉

Raise your hand if you got a “Hey girl!” DM before…even if it was from me?! 😳🤢🙋🏼♀️
No More! I am done with that! I always felt gross sending those messages out and it didn’t feel like the real me.
I started this journey 2 years ago because I thought I could help other post college athletes like me live the lifestyle we want while trying to navigate through adulting. But this time we are doing it my way!
You don’t need to be an athlete or any experience to start. Here I focus on developing sustainable health habits like exercise, nutrition, mental health, financial, and more to live a balanced life.
You won’t be getting anymore DMs but if you are wanting to join the journey, I’ll be here! Because I want people like YOU to live the life YOU want.
Drop a 💜 if you want to start!

Who is your corner?! 🥊
Every time I am smiling in these photos is because Nick is either cheering or telling me how great I am doing.
I love to workout but I enjoy working out with others more. I grew up being on a team no matter what sport I was involved in and it made a difference. Through those teams I made some of the best of friends in my life.
Once I finished with collegiate track and cross country I missed that team aspect. Everyone cheering each other on and pushing each other to their best potential.
Adulting is hard enough so I want to build a community or team where we can lean on and keep each other accountable through hard things.
Doesn’t matter what you are doing to stay active. Let’s start cheering each other on and being there during those hard moments
