Migration, or honestly just lip filler ending up where it was not supposed to - happens. Is it inevitable like everyone says? No, you won’t always end up with filler migration, but causes for results like this can be from improper product placement, overfilling/excess filler, and or technique used when administering the filler.

Join us in the treatment room before a lip augmentation (which turned out 😍 ).

Bruising, swelling, tenderness - all normal and should be completely expected after lip filler. These side effects should subside within 2-3 days, while some bruising may linger for up to a week.

One major complication that can occur from lip filler (and all filler) - vascular occlusions.

This can happen if dermal filler is injected into an artery or vein stopping blood flow.
If you are experiencing intense pain, white or very pale spots, and or a mixture of both - call your provider immediately. They will assess, dissolve, and create a follow up plan with you to ensure you are well taken care of and the issue is resolved.
