I am pleased to announce the February release of my new coloring book.
The brainstorming phase is currently underway to select content that meets high standards, particularly with regards to quotes. Your patience is appreciated as I work to deliver an epic final product.

🎙️You’re not always going to be there when someone says something unkind to your child.

That’s the hard truth parents don’t like to sit with.

These moments rarely happen in front of adults. They happen on the playground, in the hallway, during group work, or quietly between friends.
And the words don’t always sound dramatic, but they land hard.

Things like:
You’re weird
Nobody wants to play with you
You’re bad at everything

When kids hear this, their nervous system kicks in fast. Fight, freeze, or fall apart. And if they’ve never practiced what to do in that moment, confidence disappears quickly.

This is why I talk to parents about practicing responses at home.

Not to make your child tough.
Not to teach them to ignore feelings.
Not to pretend words don’t hurt.

But to help them stay grounded when someone tries to knock them off balance.

We spend so much time helping kids prepare academically.
We rehearse spelling.
We rehearse interviews.
We rehearse sports drills.

Yet we rarely rehearse the moments that actually shape how kids see themselves.

Confidence shouldn’t only exist when everyone is kind.

Self worth shouldn’t depend on being included.

And resilience isn’t something kids magically figure out on their own.

This is learned.

And it’s learned through repetition.

Say it together at home.
Normalize it.
Make it feel familiar.

Because the goal isn’t raising a child who never gets hurt.

It’s raising a child who doesn’t lose themselves when it happens.

Save this.
Practice it now.
So when you’re not there, your child still knows who they are. 01/03/2026

🌈 Other artists are not your rivals—they're your community. Your true competition is the version of yourself from yesterday. Focus on growing, refining your craft, and becoming better at what you do, rather than comparing yourself to others. Art is not a race; it's a journey.
