PLEASE HELP the son of a fellow ALUM of mine . This mother’s plea below is from My dear friend Valerie (Shaghoury) Khouri class of 78 - her son is suffering in excruciating pain every day and we are looking for help from someone in the medical community or a lead for direction anywhere in the world! The condition is called Arachnoiditis , a horrifying debilitating nerve webbing condition in the lumbar spine that sends intolerable nerve pain from the spine down to the feet and is constant. There is NO known Cure . There MUST be Someone out there that is working on pain relief protocols of the spine that could put him in a trail or help with his unthinkable pain . Is there a Doctor or anyone, anywhere in the world who can/will help a debilitated chronic pain patient with severe spinal issues and nerve inflammation disability???
A smart, upstanding, hardworking and kind person who now must lay
flat in bed 22 hours a day due to the non-stop excruciating pain and painful electrical sensations, this was caused by and continued to get NO proper medical care, pain relief, or appropriate medical help and treatment..

This is not due to lack of insurance, but do to a medical community that just doesn’t care, or are not willing to help with anything even slightly complex, or to treat pain. This is a chronic neuro and spine disease from the lumbar all the way down to the feet , and is killing a life! A life that is too young to suffer and will continue to worsen for decades and decades. This suffering is beyond cruel. Private Pay is fine if insurance is not accepted

PLEASE HELP with this PLEA ! Even if it’s only slight help and hope that can be found!
