Time is flying by!!

Recently, I celebrated 18 years as a survivor of a DVT (Blood Clot) & Pulmonary Embolism (PE). While I was in the hospital that week, I kept hearing from my doctors “You’re too young to have a blood clot (I was only 36)”, “Do you know how lucky you are?”, “DVT/PE is a silent killer” and “Most people don’t know the symptoms of a blood clot.” I quickly had to educate myself on what I just went through, how lucky I truly was and what that meant for me the rest of my life. I had multiple risks and didn’t even know it.

After this experience, I vowed to share my story in hopes it would help even 1 person someday.
