Some lash facts for ya on this humpday 🐪

Living in florida we all wanna have fun in the sun. Do ya thing girl! But if you have lash extensions here are some things you need to know and how to cope.

The salt water is tough on lashes, the sun is tough on lashes. why? salt helps breaking down and drying out glue. how does the sun affect it? it makes us sweatt which in turn creates oil on your eyelid that slides down to the lash line and breaks down glue as well.

So what do we do ? No boat rides and beach days? Get real! Just WASH YOUR LASHES! As soon as possible. Leaving the beach? while you’re rinsing off your body from sand before getting in the car rinse those lashes! Get the sand, salt and sweat out until you’re home and can cleanse properly!

It’s all about the tools of the trade. These are some of my favorite volume tweezers. As you can see I’ve tried many and like certain ones for certain diameters.

Got to invest in your tools. Also do not you love the craftiness? Making my own magnetic tweezer case in the low low was the best thing I found and tweaked to make my own.

Most of us know the typical after care for lash extensions. Don’t brush them wet, wash with cold water, clean them daily, don’t sleep on your face etc.. butttt do we know about singed lashes?!

This can happen from cooking, grilling, smoking to name a few. Crazy thing is sometimes we don’t even see it till our lash tech points it out. Please ladies remember this can happen. Be careful about putting flames that close to your eyes also lol.
