FDA recently posted a nationwide recall of six Centric Compounding lots after elevated endotoxin levels were identified in selected compounded glutathione, Myer’s Cocktail, and Tri-Immune Boost injectable products.

The affected lots are:
* Glutathione: 062326:B, 070826:A and 072726:D
* Myer’s Cocktail: 070226:D and 072126:A
* Tri-Immune Boost: 071626:B

If you possess one of these products, stop using it and contact the dispensing pharmacy or prescribing provider. Patients who previously received one and have concerns should contact their healthcare provider.

Reported symptoms included fever, chills, chest pain, nausea or vomiting, headache, and malaise. Seek emergency care for severe symptoms, breathing difficulty, fainting, signs of shock, or another medical emergency.

This recall is an important reminder that responsible injectable care includes pharmacy verification, product and lot documentation, active recall monitoring, and clinical oversight.
