Studying 2 Corinthians today. I loved 1 Corinthians so I wanted to go straight through and do this.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5
“Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ , the Father of mercies and God of all comfort , who comforts us in all our afflictions so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

What I took from this is , God can comfort you in any problem or distress you may be having.
But he comforts you for the sake of others. When God gives you comfort you don’t hold it in! You pass that comfort on to others, to show them what God has done for you and what he can do for them!

For example, when I was saved almost two years ago it was because God took the comfort he gave to my brother in law and he passed it on to me so that God could heal me. If Jay and Haley would have never passed to me what they knew that God can do , I may not have ever made it into church.

My knowledge of addiction and trauma and cancer and healing through God , I have passed on and shared my story to many men and women which then they also gave their lives to Christ.

When God gives you knowledge and comfort, YOU SHARE IT! Some people may not know that comfort and love of God unless you tell them and show them what all he can do!! Everything you are given is from God and it’s our job to pass it on to others!! ❤️

Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make deciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the son of the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always to the end of the age.”

Always share the word and love of Jesus Christ!! No matter the hate, the criticism or the mockery. There is nothing like the Love of the Father!!
