Shout out to Drew Nguyen for the shirt design he did for the shop. We’ve already sold most of the shirts, so if you are wanting one swing by and grab one before they’re gone. He’s a talented artist and has given a couple of the dudes at the shop some solid ink. If you are looking at getting a tattoo or a design done, hit him up at Jade Dragon in Branson.

Help Lukes’ family during his fight, organized by Summer Prater
I’m sure most of you guys either know Luke or have seen him cruising around town in his wheelchair with a trailer picking up cans. For being in his position he still finds the ability and drive to push himself to do something for the community and stay active. This dude always has a smile on his face and a positive outlook for all he’s gone through. He is one of those people that probably doesn’t realize how much he inspires me and I’m sure others. He had just started helping answer phones for the barber shop when all of this new stuff surfaced medically. I would encourage you guys to pray for him and his family along with donating to help them out financially while they are going through this.
Keep fighting Luke! You’re stronger than you realize.

Early this year some of our clients and friends raised some money to pay the tickets we received from local law enforcement for not wearing masks in our business. We ended up using some of that money for the court costs and then after Mayor Larry Milton got into office he pardoned all of our tickets. We wanted to say thank you to our Mayor, thank you to all of our loyal clients, and let you know that we are going to use the rest of the money to do something for the community. Stop by Friday the 13th between 3 and 6. We are going to have Suburban Snow at the shop giving out free snow cones to whoever wants one. Come by whether you have an appointment or not and we’ll even have a Lost Boys themed snow cone ready to try. 🍧 See you Friday!

Now selling Dr. Squatch! We have a bunch in stock but they are going fast.

Happy featuring our newest barber Joshua.
Also - get your appointments in now for Monday. We will be open since Catie forgot to schedule everybody off for the holiday. Have a safe Memorial weekend! 🇺🇸

Make sure to get your appointments booked this week before we fill up before memorial weekend!

Starting this off by saying how much we love and appreciate all of our clients and wouldn’t be where we are without you! The next order of business is what I’ve been putting off for two years . The price of everything has gone up and unfortunately we have to follow suit if we want to continue to grow . Starting May 19th we will be going up an additional $5 for our haircuts and adding new service options to our menu. We needed to jump $3 last year but after Covid we didn’t feel that it would be appropriate due to the uncertainty of everything for all of us . Now that we are moving forward from life as we once knew it, we have to keep up with inflation along with the need to hire a full time front desk person at a wage that will draw them off the governments tit . My wife can no longer juggle two children and answer phones all day . So we hope everyone can understand and we can continue to sustain a place where you can get a solid haircut, speak your mind without fear of repercussions (know your audience), listen to decent music, and build a community of people that are real and that want more out life!

If looks could kill, we would all be dead 💀

Just another day at the office.

The roads are clear and we have openings. If you guys are looking for some socialization and a haircut after being snowed in , we got you.

Last haircut at the shop before he moved back to India . Safe travels my dude .
A little clarity to my post .

For everyone who has come into the shop that doesn’t agree with our mask compliance, just ask and we will happily wear one for you. Please be as bold to our faces as you are on facebook and with calling the local police department . If you don’t like the way we do business , please take yours elsewhere..... because we don’t want yours .
Sincerely The Lost Boys .

To all of our boys who have been more than generous after us being forced to close we thank you from the bottom of hearts . You are the reason we show up everyday and eagerly await what the day is going to bring . It’s the conversations , the camaraderie, and the occasional mullet that keeps us going ! We love you all and are blessed to be your Barbers .

To all of our clients who have been patiently waiting in quarantine we are excited to announce that we will be reopening May 5th. Due to the massive amount of people who have been contacting us asking when they can book, we highly encourage you to book online so we aren’t overwhelmed with calls. You can go to our website www.LostBoysBarber.co and click book now - it’s simple and will save us from answering hundreds of calls and hours on the phone.
We will be doing our best to follow the guidelines that have been set in place. Due to our shop being very small we would encourage you to not bring your family or friends along to hang out while you are getting a haircut to help with our occupancy. When you get to the shop come in to let us know you are here and you can then either wait in your car or we will have some seating set up outside to help with “social distancing.”
This has been a crazy time for all of us and we are excited to reconnect with all of you while getting to do what we love. Please bare with us on our schedules - since we will be dealing with sanitation requirements, a massive influx of people, and all of the excellent home haircuts we have been seeing - we will be doing our best to accommodate everyone while trying to stay on time. Use common sense, if you are sick, immune compromised, terrified in general, or the type of person that is running to Facebook to put their neighbor on blast for not following every guideline to the T.... please don’t come in. We are all in this together - love you all and look forward to making you a little easier to look at.
After listening to the Board of Aldermen meeting last night and with careful deliberation, we have made the decision to close the barber shop until further notice. At 25% capacity the most we could have in the shop at one time would be about 5-6 people and it’s not worth the risk for us. So we will be self quarantining with our families to try to be as careful as possible - while growing some vegetables in our garden, and knitting homemade toilet paper. We truly care about our clients and community and we will be ready to get you guys back in as soon as it’s safe again. Support your local businesses however you can and take care of yourselves. We are working on calling all our clients but if you read this and have an outstanding appointment, send a text to the shop or call to let us know you saw this message. We will keep you posted on when we will be taking appointments again!

Haven’t done the best on keeping up with our social media . That new iPhone tho

Just in time for the holiday season we are back to running 4 barbers and booking up QUICK for Christmas. Get on our website and book your appointment right now before it’s too late. 🎁

If you need to get in before school starts next week, we are running out of open spots fast! Get on our website and book your appointment now 👏🏻

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Steve Jones and his photography skills. He hooked us up with some headshots for our website and did an awesome job! We even got to sneak Enoch for a picture and I might be biased but I think it’s the best one . Hit him up if you need any photography done .

We had the opportunity to partner with Barnabas Prep the past couple months and have a student come help at our shop once a week. We got to hang out with them some last year and we found out that Steven was going to be back this year so we requested to have him be our guy. He went above and beyond every Wednesday from rolling the hot towels, washing the windows, sweeping the floor (and our shoes while cutting hair), taking out the cow skin rug and beating the hair and dust out of it (usually it would fly back in the shop and cover whoever was sitting by the door if we had it propped open), and last but not least bringing more joy to our shop than we had any other day of the week. Steven put more smiles on people's faces than our haircuts and trust me, that's saying something. We actually had multiple people start booking specifically for Wednesday morning just so they could see Steven, and our client Geoff is even going with us to Stevens graduation this Saturday. I’m posting all this to say if you own a business in Branson or the surrounding area and you get a chance to open your doors to a student from Barnabas Prep, they are all awesome people and you should do it. The idea is to help the students learn how to be apart of a work environment and to hone their social skills, but in all honesty we gained way more from this experience than Steven probably did. We will all miss having him walk in Wednesday morning and pull off his sweater to show off his Lost Boys shirt we gave him on day one, give us a big smile, call us all boat heads, grab a broom and start sweeping. All this to say if he comes back to Barnabas next year and you want to get your business plugged in with them as well, don't even think about trying to snag Steven because he's one of the Lost Boys now. Happy graduation Steven you earned it.
