I am a Professional Face Painter, Children's Event Entertainer, Aspiring Body Painter & Henna Artist!
Heres the fairy den swing video.
Materials used/process:
Painted the wood on the swing base to look a bit more like a tree rather than cut wood, I used a thinned out brown acrylic paint applied with a sponge brush. I bought a sheet of fake bark and cut that up and attached to the swing base sporadically with a staple gun. Also purchased a fake moss blanket, that is sssooooo soft, cut that up, attached with staple gun mostly to the bottom so it resembled real moss. The ivy, wisteria, hanging vines and lights were all also attached using a staple gun. I didnt want anything falling down or peeling off. The battery box for the lights is attached with velcro. I used flowers that had fallen off the wisteria pieces to help hide some of the staples.
This only took a few hours to complete and 95% of the supplies were sourced from temu, I know, I know, but my goal was to stay as cheap as possible to complete the most realistic feel as I could. The paint and sponge brush was from Walmart.
My supplies ran about $70 in total plus about 4 hours time in total. The result, a really calm space for our neurodiverse population to swing and reset when needed.

I added a rainbow... finally, to my sensory wall at the clinic. Free handed, so it's not perfect. Ill be adding some jewels or glitter to that eventually. And I finished up the swing room at the clinic as well. It is officially a fairy den swing. Video to come
