When I was finishing cosmetology school, I remember feeling so unsure about where I should go next. Finding a place like truly changed everything for me.

While I’m still assisting, I always had this fear that I’d just be washing and blow drying hair all day… but that’s not the case at all. I get to learn, grow, and have my hands in hair every single day.

Today Sam installed two rows of IBE extensions and then I got to take over for the color. Opportunities like that are exactly why assisting somewhere that truly teaches you is so important.

If you’re in school and feeling lost or stuck, I highly recommend assisting somewhere that will push you to grow and learn.

So thankful for Sam for always teaching me, trusting me, and letting me make choices behind the chair. And thank you to my amazing boss .whitebricksalon for creating such an incredible assistant program that gives us opportunities like this 🤍
