Have you ever eaten a bowl of oatmeal, and felt that your insides were instantly soothed? That’s kind of how we feel after applying Sow Your Wild Oats as an evening facial cleanse, but on the outside.

In addition to just how it feels though, SYWO is demonstratively lovely in its ability to lift off dirt and excess oil from the skin, given the blend of oats and pulses contained within. The added milk powder offers a light exfoliating effect, helping to remove layers of dead skin. And, herbs like gotu kola and yarrow whisper reminders to the skin that it is safe to heal and not blemish.

Mix SYWO powder with hot water (I use boiled kettle water) to create a goopy paste. Once cooled, apply and massage into skin. Feel free to leave on for a few minutes if desired, adding more water with fingertips while massaging. Wipe with a steamy, wet washcloth to remove, and then rinse off with water.

No further steps needed! The oats offer protection for your skin in a way that a conventional cleanser may not be able to do. You can go to sleep, moisturizer-free (and your skin will naturally self-moisturize overnight).
