A short time ago I decided to turn my hobby and passion for woodworking into a small business.
Out Of The Woodwork is my small business focused on the creation of custom heirloom wood craft pieces ranging from children's toys and keepsake boxes to full wall built-in cabinetry and furniture. Since then I have seen interest spring up and requests for custom work of all sizes and shapes come in. It's been quite a while since I've posted something new- so here goes.
This "Memory Box" is made of solid walnut and solid core walnut plywood and has spalted Maple accents.
It measures 22"L x 16"W x 16"H and was made specifically for an old neighbors son who lost his father far too early in life.
His mother will be placing various special items inside as a keepsake.

Finally had a chance to get back to the custom sewing table - another few hours of work and this one will be done - just need to finish the drawer fronts, a little sanding ans finish and this one will be in the books.
