Cheers to a New School Year!

As we kick off a new school year, I want to wish the Lionettes an amazing, fun-filled season!

It has been such a pleasure welcoming some of these talented young ladies into my chair over the past year. From game-day glam to a little mane TLC, I’ve loved being a small part of their journey.

I’m looking forward to cheering them on, watching them continue to grow, and keeping those manes looking their best throughout the season! 🦁🤎

Continuing with another piece from this artistic collection. This time, showcasing men’s hair.

It’s equally important to challenge ourselves with men’s styling, especially for those of us who primarily work behind the chair with women.

Men’s hair asks us to approach structure, texture, movement and finish differently. It pushes us outside of our comfort zone and challenges not only our minds, but also the way our hands work through the hair.

That’s one of the things I love most about creating artistic collections. There are no limitations of the everyday appointment. We get to explore techniques that might not naturally find their way into our regular routines.

And just like with last week’s rockabilly-inspired look, the lessons don’t stay on the photoshoot floor. Every collaboration adds another layer to our craft and gives us something new to bring back behind the chair and into the experience we create for our guests.

Different hair. Different techniques. Same artistry.

Artistic collections give us the space to experiment, challenge ourselves and see hair through a different lens.

There’s more to this craft than the work we see behind the chair. Every creative collaboration teaches us new techniques, perspectives, details we might not have considered before and those experiences continue to shape the artists we are for our guests.

Because ultimately, the creativity doesn’t stay here. We bring it back behind the chair, into your appointments, and into the work we create together.

Sometimes all your hair needs is the right shape!

This transformation was about creating movement and shape that complements her features without sacrificing the length she loves.

We added long, blended layers + a strategically designed face frame to take away some of the heaviness and give her hair more natural movement.

Since she doesn’t like having hair in her face, the face-framing was intentionally created to complement her features while still working with the way she prefers to style and wear her hair.

A great haircut isn’t just about following a trend. It’s about creating a shape that works with your hair, your features, and your lifestyle.

There comes a point in your career when you realize your greatest impact isn't just the hair you create but also the people you help grow.
