At NAPPY AND MUZURI, our latest R&D session with our new collaborators at ScarPro marks a key milestone in our mission to develop an 100% Belgian based high-performance, inclusive skincare tailored to Fitzpatrick skin types IV, V, and VI.

Why this collaboration matters: ScarPro brings over 20 years of expertise in medical-grade silicone technologies widely recognized as the gold standard in scar prevention and treatment backed by strong evidence-based research and regulatory excellence, along with end-to-end OEM capabilities from formulation and prototyping to packaging and compliance, enabling us to accelerate innovation without compromising safety or efficacy.

Inside the R&D session, this was far more than a meeting, it was a full-spectrum innovation workshop, with deep dives into melanin-rich skin biology, evaluation of ingredient compatibility across diverse skin tones, exploration of silicone-based technologies for scar modulation and barrier support, alignment on consumer experience from texture to long-term results, and mapping of complete product journeys from lab bench to end user.

The key takeaway is the exceptional professionalism, rigor, and commitment of the ScarPro team,their structured yet flexible, science-led yet consumer-focused, and deeply collaborative approach reinforces our confidence in co-creating products that deliver both clinical efficacy and meaningful, inclusive skincare experiences.
